Zen and the Art of Liver Maintenance

Hello Everyone!
I’m D. Scott Graham and this is my journey through MASLD and cirrhosis of the liver.
Like others in my position, I have decided to chronicle my journey in a blog. Not a new idea, I know. Honestly, it is just as much for myself as anyone else. I am thankful for your interest. I am feeling the need to speak about what I experience. I want to track my thoughts, my ups, my downs, my set-backs, and my victories. Over the next few months or possibly longer, I am going to experience a LOT. I want to keep it all and not lose it. The best way to do that is to write about it as it is happening.

About Me
I am a 57 year old white man, diagnosed in April 2025 with MASLD and cirrhosis of the liver. I am a media production director & video editor, and a life-long Theatre person – designer, director, and actor. I have three amazing children who have also devolved a love for the arts and theatre.
